1. General provisions

This website and the Lex service belong to A.I. Ghenadi Nicolaev, IDNO 1026023035183, registered at s. Congaz, str. Pionierii 5, Republic of Moldova.

Lex is an extension for the Google Chrome browser that helps you learn English based on YouTube videos you choose yourself. The extension generates readable subtitles for the video and lets you talk with a virtual teacher, by text or by voice.

Using the website and placing an order constitutes acceptance of these Terms. They are drawn up in accordance with Legea nr. 284/2004 on electronic commerce and Legea nr. 105/2003 on consumer protection.

2. Personal data

We process your data in accordance with Legea nr. 133/2011 on the protection of personal data. Details are set out in the Privacy Policy.

3. Registration and payment of an order

Creating an account and installing the extension are free. To use the lessons, top up your account balance. Prices are stated in US dollars (USD).

Payment is made by card, on the secure page of the payment service provider, with 3-D Secure authentication. Your card details are not transmitted to us and are not stored by us.

Before making a payment you tick the box confirming that you have read and accepted these Terms.

Refunds of funds are made exclusively to the payment card used for the purchase.

4. Delivery of the service

The balance is available in your account immediately after the payment is confirmed. No physical goods are delivered.

To use the service you need the Google Chrome browser, a Lex account and a positive balance. The balance does not expire.

This is not a subscription: there are no recurring payments and nothing renews automatically.

5. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason, within 14 days from the date of payment, in accordance with Legea nr. 105/2003 and the Civil Code.

Regardless of that period, we refund the unused part of the balance at any time upon request. The part already used is not refunded. Details are set out in the Refund Policy.
